A top Neuropatholigist was consulted numerous times over the years and kept coming up with the same opinion. As recently as 2012 the Gardai yet again sought his opinion. he confirmed that Niall lived for a period of 3-6 hours after the initial assault. This seriously casts doubt on many of the witness statements.
