“The lack of a detailed explanation by the Flynn family about what took place at Kilcoursey House on the night of 7th/8th July 1985 has added considerably to the speculation surrounding the death of Father Niall Molloy”
Website has been getting views daily mostly from Ireland but with an increasing number of International visitors. Not many new posts have been made over past view months because we have been viewing documents that were previously not made available to us. We will not comment on what we have found until this process is completed which will be in the coming weeks.
A complaint on behalf of the family of the late Fr Niall Molloy was handed in to the Garda Ombudsman’s office today at 12:53 pm. The family complaint is based on the recent findings in the McGinn Report and was made by Henry McCourt, Solicitor, a nephew of Fr Molloy.
Just for the record it is five years, this month, since I first made contact with a detective from the Cold Case Unit.
I was informed in Sept 2009 that Niall’s case “was not currently under review”
It was only in Feb 2010 when I informed the Unit, by email, that I had meetings with Garda Ombudsman’s Office that things started to happen. Within Hours of sending my email I was contacted by phone by a senior member of the Cold Case unit to arrange a meeting for the following Friday.
So here we are after five years of work by the elite squad of our National Police Force.
STILL WAITING FOR ANSWERS
P.S. My dealing with the Garda Commissioners Office is worthy of a separate post on here. I called into their Office the day after they were officially launched my Minister McDowell.
