An Independent TD has criticised the government decision not to begin another inquiry into death of Fr Niall Molloy.
Clare Daly was speaking was speaking during Leaders’ Questions yesterday about alleged garda corruption, and among the cases she mentioned was the death of the Castlecoote priest in Clara, Co Offaly in 1985.
Recently an independent examination of a garda review into the death of Fr Niall Molloy found that a further inquiry was not warranted.
Deputy Clare Daly says the Taoiseach needs to deal with this and other cases.
